H.D.P.E. Sign Panels: Specifications

Materials:

H.D.P.E. (High Density Polyethylene) Sheet

UV stabilized, zero water absorption, zero degradation. Material does not support organic material and has very low adhesion characteristics. Advantages: Requires no painting, will not rot, chip, crack or delaminate like vinyl and sandblasted/painted materials. Available with or without custom logos.

Sizes & Colors: Multi-Layer Sheet

Sheets come in ¼”, ½” and ¾” thicknesses. Full sheet, 48” wide by 96” long. Lengths available to 10’ for some colors. *Not all colors available in all thicknesses. Click here for complete Color Chart

Sheets come in ¼”, ½” ¾” and 1” thicknesses. Full sheet, 54” wide by 96” long.

Mounting:

CAM’s standard post brackets can be mounted on back of sign panels by self-tapping, stainless steel screws. Brackets fit 4” x 4” posts. Small plaques can be drilled and counter-sunk for mounting with screws. Signs can also be mounted with threaded studs that screw into small holes drilled and tapped on sign panel backside. Graphic Files:

Client supplied graphic files shall be in EPS file extensions with closed poly lines and are subject to our review and approval. Graphics may be submitted via email attachment (.eps). Graphics must be full size. Best fonts for carved text are: Arial Bold, Brush Script, Cheltenhm BT Bold, Clarendon BT, Dom Casual, FrizQuadrata Bold, CG Omega Bold, CG Palacio, Tropez Bold. Shapes:

Standard sign panels can be any shape up to 48” x 96”. See photo gallery for further ideas.

Letters & Numbers:

Individually cut letters and numbers made from HDPE are also available, 2-color or solid color. Stud mounting from the back is the typical mounting method for these items.
